IACP Foundation SELECT Scholarship

Dear SACOP Members,

Just a reminder that the IACP Foundation is now accepting applications for the Survivors’ Education Law Enforcement Trust (SELECT) Scholarship. . I hope you will take the opportunity to distribute this important information to anyone and everyone who might take advantage of these scholarships.

The SELECT Scholarship is perhaps the most fundamental and powerful initiative of the Foundation’s programs. Each year, the Foundation is proud to distribute cash awards from three endowed scholarships to the dependant family members of fallen officers or officers permanently disabled in the line of duty.

Both spouses and children are eligible for this program and to date, the Foundation has helped defray over $15,000 in continuing education costs for family members who have looked at life from the other side of the thin blue line.
